Remove "Test Mode Windows 7 Build 7601" :

If your Windows 7 is displaying “Test Mode Windows 7 Build 7601” or “Test Mode Windows 7 Build 7600” watermark at the lower-right corner of your Windows 7 desktop, you can off this message. This text displayed because your Windows 7 OS is running in Test Mode.

Test Mode may occur in Windows if an application whose drivers are not digitally signed by Microsoft is installed and still in the test phase.

Microsoft is providing a tool named “Fix It solution” to automatically remove the Test Mode watermark from the Windows 7 desktop. But if you want to remove it manually without using Fix It solution or by any other tools, follow one of the methods :

Method 1:

1 : Run the Command Prompt with administrative rights. To do this, type CMD in Start menu search field, and then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter keys simultaneously.
Or, navigate to Start menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> right-click on Command Prompt entry and select Run as administrator option.

2: In the Command Prompt type bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING OFF and hit enter key. Wait till you see message “The operation completed successfully”.

3: Reboot your computer to remove the watermark.
If the above method is not working, use the procedure given below to remove the watermark.

Method 2:
1: Once again, open the Command Prompt with administrative rights (Follow Method 1’s Step 1 instruction).
2: Type and execute the following commands:

bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF

3 : Exit the Command Prompt, and then reboot your Windows. It’s done!
